Both Aiden and Tyler died. They’re becoming more of the phantoms than compared to the rest. They’re seeing themselves and maybe it’s all those bad qualities? Aiden is different than what he shows currently[And a bit concerned for him and Tyler]. He dyed his hair and uses eye contacts, and I’m more on questioning why than anything. Aiden see’s maybe his- old self? I could put it, or what he’s going to become in that version. Clearly Aiden doesn’t like and I wanna know why—but the phantoms could just be taking all those bad memories, when they were at their lowest. Like with Tyler, it could take that part of himself when he lost his dad and use it against what they stand as now.

This is just guessing though and run on thinking. Another thing was that, they could all be turning into phantoms just not as fast, I figure this was the more common one and it literally shows them becoming more like the phantoms. But since Aiden and Tyler died, it’s a jump in process.

Aiden and Tyler died, yes, Ashlyn having a close experience when she hit her head[As simple as I put it] but she didn’t die. Clearly when she was born it caused some long term affect. She could be experience it way longer just not as seen and that’s why the phantoms have such an affect with her.

With those who are already phantoms in the real world, maybe they see that of both worlds? Not only the kids, or everyone else. But they see both the real and dream realm. They don’t see everyone else as much but the group of 6, that’s why the phantoms are so after them or possibly their parents when it get’s there. Because normal people aren’t experienced or in the phantom realm it’s the kids. And the kids sorta see both overlapping.

Still don’t know how I feel for this. But it’s better than nothing—I’ll figure it out more when the time comes.

The way some of yall mischaracterize Ratio as being stoic in chill when in reality he is 24/7 resisting the urge to rip everyone around him a new one is crazy to me like. He cares so much, so much. It’s unhealthy, he loses the idgaf war every time because Ratio is the least nonchalant person ever like

He was this close to breaking character and throttling Sunday like you cannot tell me he wasn’t planning a murder in this scene. Ratio straight up calls Sunday a crazy bitch but everyone brushed it aside 😭

Genuinely, Aventurine is way better at concealing his true feelings that Ratio. Ratio may be acting for the sake of the plan but the way he truly feels about anything he’s doing always seeps through, it’s why he apologizes to Aventurine in 2.0 in their staged argument scene. It’s why he is as mean to Sunday as he can be. It’s why him pretending that he “hates” Aventurine makes him act so silly. Ratio can’t fully commit to the bit, he can’t force himself to not care or to be someone he isn’t, because fundamentally Ratio CARES and that is something he is incapable of hiding, alabaster bust or not.

The problem is that him expressing his care is often done in a rude and/or blunt manner which people tend to interpret as stoicism or apathy when it’s anything but. Ratio’s vial that he gives to Aventurine is short, sweet and gets straight to the point, because that’s the easiest way for Ratio to express his emotions, even if it’s often detrimental for him and anyone else around him. However Aventurine understands him quite well, and knows that although brief, Ratio telling him to “stay alive, survive this and keep on living” is how he truly feels towards Aventurine, and that’s enough to keep him going.

Underneath Ratios carefully crafted marble facade is a man who cares so much and is so bad at expressing it and I wish the community in general, especially Aventio shippers would acknowledge that more. Ratios true moments of sincerity are brief, but they are anything but stoic. Let the man be soft, it’s in character.

There is no way that anyone can convince me that Ao3 writers aren’t amazing. These “silly cringey fanfictions” have me SOBBING. Thinking about fox shifter!Childe who loves to chase bunny shifter!Reader. He chased you when he first met you, fox paws pinning you down in your squirming rabbit form, until you wore yourself out and he took you home with him. But after he knows you, he still loves the chase.

The tinge of instinctual fear intermingled with nervous thrill in your scent makes his blood pump. His fox ears are out, tail streaming behind him as he chases after you, following the noises you make as you bound and leap through the forest, trying to stretch out the distance between you and him.

You’re fast, but Childe has trained tirelessly over the years to hone his senses and master his body—both human and fox form, and the in-betweens. So he gains on you, your scent growing stronger to the point he can almost taste it.

He can tell you’re tiring.

Once he closes the distance and catches you, hands wrapping around your waist and spinning you around, he pushes you up against a tree. Before you can get a word out, he tears through the sleeve of your shirt with sharp claws, his fox features still present with the adrenaline running through his veins. Your noise of surprise is ignored. He swipes his tongue along your neck, savoring the taste of your skin: slightly salty from running, but your sweet scent is so strong here. Childe can hear your blood pumping, see your pulse fluttering, and he can’t help himself.

He bites.

Sinks his teeth into your skin, where your neck curves into your shoulder. You whine in shock at the sting of pain, but a shiver runs down your spine. His canines are sharper than a normal human’s, but he takes care to not break skin—this time.

He pulls back slowly when you thump your fist into his chest.

“Get off! Why did you have to go and tear my top?”

Childe runs his tongue over his teeth. He can taste you on his tongue, in his mouth, and he grins. “You ran from me.”

Your fingers brush over his bite mark. “I thought that was the whole point of what we planned,” you complain. “Why am I getting punished for it?”

“That’s not a punishment,” he says, blue eyes darkening. “It’s a reminder that I’ll always catch you, no matter how far you run.” He’ll be satisfied with the possessive mark left on your neck for now. It will fade in a few days, but that will be the perfect excuse for him to chase you again.
